Danny Hauser's Last Cancer Treatment
[Fox 9 News, Nov. 6, 2009] Inside the radiation room, Danny Hauser is a warrior preparing for one more battle. Minutes into his therapy session, he’s ready to claim victory.
“Best part about it is I don’t have to come back in here,” Hauser said of his last treatment.
Technicians at Abbott Northwestern Hospital targeted the radiation to the exact spot where a tumor once crew in Hauser’s chest. The 13-year-old never wanted radiation or chemotherapy, but a judge ordered medical treatment over the natural methods his family argued for.
