Metro 2010 first baby honors go to Unity Hospital

[Allina Newsroom, Jan. 1, 2010] Metro Twin Cities 2010 first baby honors go to Allina’s Unity Hospital and parents Danielle Miley and Scott Carpentier. Danielle gave birth to daughter MaKenzie (7 pounds, 20.5 inches) at 12:12 Friday morning. Unity Birth Center staff say this is the first time in its 42 year history that Unity Hospital has taken metro first baby honors. Look for coverage on all four local TV station newscasts this evening (some may be delayed or canceled because of bowl games) and in the Pioneer Press tomorrow.
