St. Michael’s Girl Makes Dramatic 911 Call
[KMSP TV, KARE11 TV, WCCO TV, KSTP TV, WCCO Radio, Jan. 6, 2009] Frightened but in control, nine year old Sydney Gifford knew what to do when her mother, Laura, was felled by a seizure a month after brain surgery to remove a tumor. She called 911 and with the help of Allina Medical Transportation dispatcher Terri Hanson, cared for her mother and her three younger brothers and sister until first responders arrived.
