Allina surgeon expects new bats to reduce baseball injuries
[KSTP-TV, April 2, 2012] Minnesota high school baseball has adopted new rules requiring bats that reduce the speed of the ball coming off the bat. Orthopedic surgeon Pearce McCarty, at Allina’s Sport and Orthopaedic Specialists, says the goal is to reduce the number and severity of injuries for fielders. Watch the KSTP-TV News report here.
